CTG unlucky in national final

After CTG won there regional round of the BEN karting championships they found themselves having an off-day at the national finals in Grantham yesterday. The event held at JM Kartsport in Grantham on the 8th of October was organised to raise money for BEN the occupational benevolent fund for employees past and present from the automotive industry.

The regional rounds had produced 18 teams that progressed to the final, and after starting from 15th on the grid CTG only managed to make 6th spot by the end of the race. This was a big disappointment to team CTG after winning the competition in 2005 and expecting to get on the podium again this year. Nick Henry, one of the CTG drivers said “On the day we were just not quick enough”, he also vowed that the team would be back stronger next year.
