After a successful 2006, the GTC-Duke Racing team have continued that form with a great performance at the first round of the HKS pro drag series. The first event, ptm show, at Santa Pod was where the action took place and in front of a crowd of 12,000 Team GTC not only won the event but also broke the 4WD European record with an 8.3 seconds @ 164 mph run.
One of the major winter upgrades was the addition of an advanced composite TORQline™ CS propshaft, an off the shelf aftermarket item able to handle the massive power produced by the Skyline. The TORQline™ CS propshaft is 60% lighter then the standard shaft, not only is it light it is also incredibly strong. This in-turn leads to an increase in performance which is now much more evident. This addition knocked half a second off their pervious record, and all indications show there is more to come! This technology is not only available for the professionals, it is available for a wide variety of cars including the Skyline, Evo, Impreza, Caterham and many others. Congratulations to everyone at GTC-Duke Racing and the best of luck in the next round at Jap Show on the 24th June.
