CTG scoops Small Business of the Year Award at MIA Business Excellence Awards

Monday 12th January 2004

Banbury-based CTG has picked up the title of Small Business of the Year at the Motorsport Industry Association Business Excellence Awards, held at the Autosport International show in Birmingham last week.

Employing 50 people in its Thorpe Way facility, CTG is an advanced composites specialist, producing high technology, high performance products for several industries including medical imaging and subsea exploration. CTG’s motorsport products include its TORQline range of carbon fibre composite propshafts, supplied to racing teams worldwide.

Spokesman Jeff Hilton said, “We are absolutely delighted to receive an award like this after only three years of trading. To be given the title Small Business of the Year by our industry peers shows how far we have developed in such a short time, and reflects upon the talented people we employ in the North Oxfordshire area.”
