CTG Sponsor Sumo Power Skyline
Tuesday 3rd October 2006
CTG have agreed to sponsor Sumo Power who run a Skyline R33 GTR on the pro drag circuit. CTG supplies the team with a TORQline composite propshaft specifically designed to withstand the high torque loads put on it. Sumo Power, based in Sheerness in Kent, have decided to name the car ‘Fuujin’ which is the Japanese god of wind.
The car, still yet to run will be put through its paces at its first shakedown in October. One of the aims of the project is to become the fastest Japanese drag car and Sumo Power are confident of beating the 8 second barrier. CTG wishes Sumo Power the best of luck as they aim to become the fastest Japanese drag car. For more information visit www.torqline.com and www.sumopower.com
